Sailor 7222
The marine radio Sailor 7222 is not ready yet for advanced remote control.
You can still remote control your 7222 from “anywhere” in the world using the Internet or other IP connection. But with limited functions.
For a full remote control, see Sailor 6222.
Future plans
Work has been ongoing now for a while with the new 7222 radio. We expect to have a full function remote control ready for release in October -24.
Available today
As with any other radio model, we can offer a universal interface. This will remote control the audio and the PTT over IP.
The radio can simultaneously be used as a standard radio with its control head, microphone and speaker.
Suitable Network Interface is 3130.
For other types of Sailor radios, please see this page.
Examples of use:
- Local use when several dispatchers want to share one radio
- Remote use where a dispatcher at one location want to talk to radio users at a different location
- Remote use where a dispatcher would like to connect to many radios at different sites
- CrossPatch between Marine radio channels and other two way radios, like analogue, IDAS, DMR, Tetra or PoC
