Recording and Transcription of Radio Calls
Record. Transcribe. Stay in control.
MIMER SOFTRADIO - VOICE RECORDING
For safety reasons many organisations needs to record all the radio calls. In this way a dispatcher can back track in his own conversation and a supervisor can fetch information on a certain incident at a later time.
Together with SoftRadio there is a server product called Mimer VoiceLog. This will record everything and store it together with date, time, source etc.
Each recording is time stamped and linked to the ID of the radio or operator. In digital radio systems, additional information such as radio ID and talk group is also captured. This makes it easy to track conversations, review incidents and follow up efficiently.
Mimer VoiceLog is available in different configurations, suitable for both large and smaller dispatch centers. For users who need to forward audio to external systems, an RTP gateway can be used to export recordings for further processing or archiving.

MIMER SOFTRADIO - TRANSCRIPTION
We have now expanded the VoiceLog with a transcription option that presents the conversation in plain text directly after reception. Each dispatcher can have his own window to show the transcriptions or the dispatch center can share one big screen. Both dispatchers and others immediately know what is said on the radio channels. All words can be searched in the database and messages can be compared in writing and in the voice recording.
If a radio call is missed, the message can be read instantly and acted upon without replaying the audio. Alongside the transcription, information about the receiving and transmitting radio is shown, making it clear who to respond to. Important words or phrases can be highlighted to stand out, and alarm calls can trigger both a visual indication and an alert signal. All transcriptions are stored and remain searchable for later review by dispatchers and supervisors.
