New in this edition
This edition adds support for several new radio models including Icom IC-M510EVO, IC-SAT100M, and Barrett 4050 HF. We're introducing new products: Mimer Terminal Gateway - Tetraflex integration, Mimer Multi X Bridge Enterprise, and new Network Interfaces for desktop phones and a SafeLine 4G modem. The new Tabletop Microphone 3491 replaces the 3110/03 with AGC (Active Gain Control), USB audio, and built-in speaker. See page 4 for the complete list of new products.
What's ahead
The Mimer platform continues to evolve. In 2026 we are expanding radio model support, improving VoiceLog with better transcription capabilities, and enhancing our Mimer API. The SoftRadio core application will see continued updates focused on stability, security, and expanded radio protocol support.

Mimer SoftRadio
With SoftRadio you can remote control your two-way radios from any Windows PC. The radios are connected through ordinary IP connections, either local in a LAN or remote over WAN or the Internet, also over satellite.
Many radios can be operated from a virtual control head, giving the operator the feeling of sitting in front of the radio although the radio might be in another town.
Each operator can also handle other devices such as phones and intercoms. And each device can be used by many operators in parallel. You can mix different types of radios and systems, both analogue and digital.
To make the system complete there are many options and accessories, for example an audio recorder and a GPS positioning system.

Mimer MXB
The Mimer Multi X-Bridge (MXB) connects Network Interfaces (at the radios) and operators, using TCP over LAN, WAN or the Internet. In some setups the MXB substitutes the RadioServer and/or the NetworkRepeater. The MXB can easily be installed with a hot standby server.

Mimer API
The Mimer API is a WebSocket-based JSON protocol that lets third-party systems connect to Mimer SoftRadio and operate radios programmatically. It runs as a Windows service that forwards commands on behalf of API clients to Mimer Network Interfaces.
Through the API, clients can monitor radio status in real time, stream audio bidirectionally via WebRTC or RTP, and make or receive calls - making it possible to build custom dispatch interfaces, embed radio control into existing platforms, or automate PTT workflows.
