IC-SAT100M Satellite PTT

The Satellite radio Icom IC-SAT100M can be remote controlled through Mimer SoftRadio giving the operator the ability to set the operating talkgroups and ofcourse use audio and PTT.

As with all other SoftRadio you can operate several radios from one dispatcher and each radio can be operated from several dispatchers. Each dispatcher can also use other types of radios in a mix.

Use your satellite radio from anywhere

With the IC-SAT100M connected to SoftRadio you will get access to satellite based push-to-talk communication. The IC-SAT100M radio appear together with other radios, allowing operators to handle all communication from one common interface.

Push-to-talk calls, talkgroup communication are handled through the same operator workflow as other radio systems.

No special configuration is required in the operator interface beyond enabling IC-SAT100M support.

Network Interface: Suitable Network Interface is 3009/76 with cable kit 3534.

VCH For the IC-SAT100M

The Virtual Control Head (VCH) for the IC-SAT100M integrates the radio into the SoftRadio system.

The VCH supports scanning, with a visible indication when scanning is active. Talkgroup selection is available, and the currently selected talkgroup is shown on the display.

The interface also shows the radio’s ID and shows the ID number of the calling party. It also displays when the unit is connected to the satellite network, providing immediate status information to the operator.

One radio, multiple operators

Allows multiple dispatchers to share and operate one or more IC-SAT100M radios.

Remote Dispatch Operation

Remote use where a dispatcher at one location can use a radio at another location.

CrossPatch Radio Integration

CrossPatch between IC-SAT100M radio talkgroups and other two-way radios, like analogue, Airband, DMR, Tetra or SIP phone.
